What I use it for
YouTube transcript extractionGuided learning via AI quizzesArticle and PDF summarizationChatting with saved knowledge base
Where it shines
- Quiz generation turns passive content into active learning. Save a video, take a quiz, actually retain it.
- Chat-with-your-knowledge-base feature makes the collection retrievable. Not just stored — usable.
- YouTube transcript extraction is instant. Save a video, get the full transcript. No extra steps.
Where it struggles
- Apple Podcasts integration doesn't work. Transcripts only from web-based sources.
- Knowledge base gets unwieldy without discipline. You have to organize or it becomes a dump.
Notes
First stop in the knowledge pipeline. YouTube videos, articles, and PDFs go into Recall for transcripts and quizzes. Important content gets synthesized through Claude or ChatGPT into structured guides that land in Notion. Recall captures. Claude/GPT processes. Notion stores. That's the loop.
How to try it
Install the browser extension. Save a YouTube video you want to learn from. Try the quiz on the transcript.
