Pricing

$10/mo add-on to any Notion plan.

Where it shines

  • Works inline where your notes already live, so there is no context-switching.
  • The AI assistant has native access to the entire knowledge base — powerful for retrieval and generating material from stored knowledge.
  • Q&A across your workspace finds things faster than manual search.
  • Visually structured so it doubles as a project management tool, not just a notes dump.

Where it struggles

  • Quality varies a lot depending on how well-structured your Notion workspace is.
  • Slower than standalone AI tools for complex generation tasks.
  • No way to customize the underlying model or prompts.

Notes

Notion is the long-term memory in my AI workflow pipeline. Claude and ChatGPT are connected as integrations — I'll regularly ask Claude to create a knowledge store in Notion organized with knowledge graphs for retrieval. The split is roughly 60% storage destination for LLM output, 40% direct use via Notion AI's assistant for retrieval and material generation. Everything is visually structured so it serves as both knowledge base and project management tool.

How to try it

If you already use Notion, enable the AI add-on and try the "Summarize" command on a long page. The real power comes from building a structured knowledge base over time.
