"If you want something done, give it to a busy person."
The past couple of months have been the busiest in my life. Starting a new job, working my way through calculus, serving as the head coach for the Orange County Tigers, and doing other project work has made the past months fly by.
To begin, I am extremely excited to announce that I am now a Senior Business Analyst at R.W. Smith & Company. The company is growing very quickly, and I am working to track performance, conduct industry and competitive analysis, and improve marketing communication. It's a challenging new position, but I'm off to a great start.
For the second year in a row, I am serving as head coach for the Orange County Tigers, a Special Olympics team in Southern California. We recently won gold and bronze medals under Coach Larry, and I am hoping to have similar success in floorhockey. Stop by our team's website to see more.
In other news, I'm wrapping up a calculus class that I started in August. Math wasn't my favorite subject in school, but I've really enjoyed the class. For now, I'm looking forward to taking a break from the text books in a couple weeks. I also started last week with a new ice hockey team called the Slack Shots. We lost our first game 4-3 in overtime, but it's a great group of guys and I'm looking forward to the season.
I'll post more when I get a chance, thanks for stopping by.
