May 31, 2010 - Friday May 14 was my last day at R.W. Smith & Co., and I am very excited to officially announce that I will be pursuing my MBA at Texas A&M starting this summer.
November 17, 2009 - It has been a very busy couple of months, and I am over due for an update. Special Olympics events, a new job and hockey teams, it's all inside.
August 19, 2009 - On August 15, 2009, I completed the Pike's Peak Ascent 1/2 marathon in 4:07:28. The race climbs 7,815 feet along a 13.33 mile trail finishing at 14,115 feet above sea level.

August 5, 2009 - On July, 18 2009, my cousin Jamie and I became Chase Ryan Miller's Godparents. We had a great day celebrating the baptism in the morning and Nathan's 3rd birthday after.
June 28, 2009 - My grandfather, Ellsworth Wallace Erickson, passed away Saturday June 27, 2009 at 7:30 pm. Born October 1, 1918, he was 90 years old.

May 20, 2009 - My brother Derek graduated from Texas Christian University on May 9, 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
March 6, 2009 - After eight months working to overcome an injury, I am rebuilding miles for the Los Angeles Marathon in May. It has been a more challenging process than I would have imagined and has forced me to reevaluate my motivations and training strategies. With about two months to go, I recently completed a 15 mile run and am feeling much more confident in my abilities.
February 22, 2009 - Special Olympics improves the lives of over 2.5 million special needs athletes from more than 180 countries worldwide. Now more than ever, the organization needs the community's support to continue to impact the lives of each athlete.
February 15, 2009 - The attached profile, written by David Armendariz, the Orange County Regional Director, was included in the Special Olympics Winter Bulletin. David is currently working with community leaders to increase participation and involvement in the program.
We have some very important local fundraisers coming up, and I will post more information on how you can help this very important organization as it becomes available.
February 5, 2009 - My little second cousin Chase Ryan Miller was born today at 1:01 PM weighing 7lbs 7ozs. Chase is my cousin Ryan and his wife Amy's second child, and Nathan's first little brother. Welcome to the family Chase and congratulations Ryan and Amy!
